1. I copied sounds of engine from original town map xml file and edited coordinates a bit. Everything in my map is handbuild ans brushes so I can easyly re-put it anywere I want.

<TWOSIDED/> <- All faces that use that texture are now Twosided instead of Singlesided
<USEOPACITY/> <- Uses, if there is one, the Alpha of the Texture.
<USEALPHATEST/> <- Because Textures with Alpha are for some reason drawn behind the player and not the other way, you have to use this so the texture is "over" the player.

And I dont know why your texture doesnt work. You probably messed something up.

you find sound
Code:

      <AMBIENTSOUND ObjName="snd_amb_b1_engine 04" type="b1" filename="amb_engine">
         <CENTER>-4262.8510742 -4349.0346680 -279.6960449</CENTER>
         <RADIUS>1200</RADIUS>
      </AMBIENTSOUND>

and you edit this line x y z coordinates:
<CENTER>-4262.8510742 -4349.0346680 -279.6960449</CENTER>

you can use dm spawns to find exact place were you want to place it. And no I am not going to show you step by step how to find location -.-
play with it all for some time and sometime you will get it. Be more creative.

To change light color in gtk radiant select light source and then press "K". Then chose color you would like to use for light and press ok. (you will notice that light itself was colored diffrent too).

Well if you want that badly to try changing original maiet maps colors, just do what I told before. add lightmap, color it with color you want by using command K and press OK. THEN for that same light source press N and there will pop up table with information. In first arrow you will see that light color in numbers just like there.

you can also change your light source radius in this table.

Like I arleady told, press "N" when you select entry (light source or global object) in your map.

When you add global to your map, press "N" and in Entries table you will be able to add fog to your map without editing xml file. (enable fog; fog color; fog min; fog max)

You cannot make new animations. All you can do is take original fire animation from maiet map and add it to your map by copying and pasting files plus few xml edits (just like elu adding) though you cant change animated file location. All you can do is move your map so it fits to animations.

Make sure that walls are not toching each other. Also make small gap between your sun effect brush and solid wall brush and between them try adding some very soft lightmap sources. (Just an idea).

camera is recognized in same way as bullet or sword. If bulet can go through wall, then camera can go too. To make camera stop, you have to make bullets stop. And the wall you want to make, cant be done on gunz. :/
