Dear old friend! :D

You might have forgotten about me (Richard, once from DR), but since I never forget people who I respect I decided to get over here.
See, I am suffering from an annoying form of memory leak, and since I know you've been online in the past 24 hours I think I'd get the fastest response to my question here, as you will probably know some possible solutions.

My brother recently tried to start mapping, and he has got the Windows 7 Ultimate (or any version...) OS.

When trying the build (no matter if he picks -NoLight, -FastLight or -Light), he receives the following error:



If I still could recall how to fix this one, I'd sure do that. I've seen it a lot myself, so I just can'tt remember why it's not working?! D:

hi, ofcourse i do remember you lol.

I, myself never seen this eror before nor i even had problems with windows. I run vista and it always worked fine. You could try setting diffrent comatibility in properties of gtk, gzmap, compiler (exe files can be found in program folder). If you run on 64bit, that is a killer I think lol.

Have you tryed looking in gzmap forums few theards? As far as i remember, many people had issuses with windows+GTK so maybe you will find same error. if no, hellSniper might know about this o.o

may be your gzmap, I doubt it's the fsrad xd or patch in gtk(?)

Apparently it had to do with shaders being setup incorrect.
Took me a while. Damn I'm getting old. XD

Funny, problem with shaders, but error says that its problem with map iteslf lol.
